Why not consider using stainless steel in your home improvement project in the kitchen. A stainless steel splashback is easy to install and gives a professional finsh to your newly remodeled kitchen. It also meets building regulations requirements for gas hobs

Stainless steel splashbacks come in standard sizes, usually 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm. You can choose to have a plain splashback or one that has a hanging rail, providing handy storage for your cooking implements.

Stainless steel is ideal for the kitchen, not only because it is heat and water resistant, but because it is hygienic and durable. Cleaning stainless steel is very easy. For day to day cleaning simply use warm water and a mild soap on a sponge or soft cloth. Use a specialist stainless steel cleaner regularly because these also lerave a protective coating. For a more aggressive maintenance choose a scrubbing pad that is not steel wool. Rub in the direction of the grain. Do not use an abrasive product such as steel wool, which can scratch and spoil the original finish.

Stone Splashbacks

Continuing the use of the benchtop material up the wall works well with stone, and especially well with granite and marble, which have a lot of movement and interest in the grain. Natural stone is timeless and will always outlast passing fashions.

Man-made (quartz) stone can also be used effectively, especially in modern kitchen styles.

If you are considering stone splashbacks, especially the natural stones such as granite or marble, a matching stone splashback is something to consider.

Fitting stone benchtops is not for the DIY enthusiast of course. It requires specialist skills, tools and machinery, not to say a team of very beefy guys to move it into place!

Natural stone is attractive and practical material so long as you are prepared to care for it properly. We manufactured, your stone will be polished to provide shine and water resistance. Natural stone is permeable and will absorb moisture and stains. It can be damaged by acidic liquids such as fruit juice and wine. Proper care of natural stone requires regular re-application of polish, ordinary car wax will do, to maintain the effect over time and prevent staining.
